Carrie Underwood switches labels…
Toby Keith is headed to the Pro Football Hall of Fame…
Carrie Underwood has signed with Capitol Records Nashville (part of Universal Music Group), meaning she’s no longer on Sony Music Nashville. The label switch marks an end to a nearly 12-year partnership with Sony and Arista Nashville, where she has released all 5 of her albums. No word on the reason for the departure because over the years, the partnership has seen Carrie become one of the most successful female country artists of all time.
In discussing her future, Carrie said, “I also want to be sure to thank every single person who has played a part in my recording career so far. I will be forever grateful to them for all we achieved together.”
And the Pro Football Hall of Fame is going country again this summer. Toby Keith is set to headline the Concert for Legends on Sunday, August 6th. Tickets to see the Big Dog Daddy go on sale on April, 7th at 10am. Red Solo Cups not included!
