Country legend Loretta Lynn suffered a stroke late last week.
According to her Facebook page, the 85-year-old was at her home in Nashville when it happened. The post says she’s under doctors’ care and had to cancel her upcoming concerts, but that she’s expected to make a full recovery.
Loretta’s new album Wouldn’t It Be Great is due out in August.
Jennifer Nettles is suffering from a broken rib after falling off the stage at a recent show in New York.
She tripped over a light fixture as she made her way to the stage. She said knew she had broken her rib immediately after the fall and was rushed to the hospital soon after.
In a bunch of tweets, Jennifer revealed that this is the first time she’s fallen off stage in her more than two decade career. She thanked fans for their kind wishes and promised to rally quickly.
