Keith Urban nabbed three American Music Awards the other night.
He picked up Favorite Male Artist, Country; Favorite Album, Country for Ripcord and Favorite Song, Country for “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”
Carrie Underwood won for Favorite Female Vocalist, Country and Little Big Town took home the prize for Favorite Duo or Group, Country.
Chris Janson takes the top spot on the country singles chart this week with “Fix a Drink,” the lead single from his album, Everybody.
Chris said he had a specific goal in mind when he wrote the song.
“I wanted to write a summer song and that’s what we did.Truly. I know that sounds so shallow to say, ‘I want to write a summer song.’ I wanted to write a summer song. Who wouldn’t want to write something that everyone just goes crazy over.” This is Chris’s second #1.
