Chris Stapleton has several number-one singles under his belt as a songwriter, but as of this week he has his first number one as an artist!
“Broken Halos” has reached the top of the Mediabase Country Airplay chart this week. The first number-one for Chris as a songwriter was Josh Turner’s “Your Man.” He has written some of the biggest songs in country music, including “Never Wanted Nothing More” by Kenny Chesney, “Drink a Beer” by Luke Bryan and “Crash and Burn” by Thomas Rhett.
Jason Aldean is gearing up for the release of his new album Rearview Town. The album gets its a name from a song on the project that Jason calls one of the best songs he’s ever recorded.
The 15-track record also includes “Drown the Whiskey,” which features Miranda Lambert.
Rearview Town comes out on April 13th.
