Scotty McCreery, who is was born in North Carolina and actually owns a home in the Western North Carolina mountains, has come forward encouraging others to help his community in any way that you can after the devastation of Hurricane Helene.
An Instagram post reminds us that he and his wife were engaged in the mountains and married there as well. His most recent album, Rise and Fall, was also written there when he invited songwriters to his home. And his son Avery was named after hard-hit Avery County.
