Congratulations go out to Jelly Roll and Thomas Rhett who are just two of the seven recipients of this year’s Country Music Association Triple Play Awards.
The Triple Play Awards annual recognizes songwriters who have penned at least three number-one hits in a 12 month period. Jelly Roll had “Son Of A Sinner,”, “Need A Favor,” and “Save Me,” and Thomas Rhett had “Half Of Me,” “Angels” and “Stars Like Confetti,” recorded by Dustin Lynch.
And Thomas’ wife Lauren had a new business venture. She has created a line of children’s sweatshirts with her friend April. Produced under the brand name Ryder and Mare that feature various graphics, and each also has a specific scripture on it.
