She has recorded vocal-only tracks of many songs she has written so that after she has passed, record producers and musicians can build arrangements around her voice. In addition, she has a song sealed and locked away for release in 2045, when she will be 99.
Garth Brooks has canceled his remaining five stadium shows, including a weather-postponed concert at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, and is refunding tickets.
The shows have been canceled due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. Refunds are being issued for Cincinnati, Charlotte, Foxborough, Baltimore and Nashville.
