The Voice is beginning its 12th season, and Blake Shelton has no intention of quitting the show anytime soon.
He says, “It really does feel like my baby now. When that show goes live, Adam and Carson and me steer that ship. It matters to us. I’ve given it so much of myself, I’m not ready to walk away yet. I will be, but not yet.”
He says he can’t imagine turning on the TV and seeing someone else in his big red chair. Neither can we, Blake!
The new season premieres tonight on NBC.
Connie Britton didn’t want Rayna James — her character on Nashville — to die, but she could see no other way.
She says, “I realized: She would never leave her family. She would never leave her kids. She would never leave Deacon. So there really wasn’t any alternative.”
Her character will come back in a flashback in another episode.
She won’t be gone from TV long, it appears Connie has landed a role in the Netflix comic drama called The Land of Steady Habits.
