Congratulations go out to Luke Combs again this week. “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” tops the Mediabase country singles chart for a second week.
Singer, songwriter, and award-winning actor Kris Kristofferson died over the weekend at his home in Hawaii at the age of 88. He won many awards including 4 Grammys, a CMA Song of the Year award for “Sunday Morning Coming Down” in 1970 and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from them in 2019. He appeared in over 90 movies and won a Golden Globe for his work in A Star Is Born. And he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2004.
