Jason Aldean to get ACM Artist of the Decade Award…
Kelsea Ballerini invited to join the Grand Ole Opry…
Jason Aldean will receive the ACM Dick Clark Artist of the Decade Award.
Loretta Lynn, Alabama, Garth Brooks and George Strait have all received the honor in the past.
Jason says, “My heroes are on this list, something I can’t really even wrap my head around being part of. But man, I’m proud to be getting it — it’s for everyone who stuck with us and supported us through the years.”
Jason will receive the award at the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards on April 7th in Las Vegas.
Four years ago, Kelsea Ballerini made her Grand Ole Opry debut. Earlier this week, she became its newest member.
Little Big Town invited Kelsea onstage to join them for a performance of “Girl Crush,” and when it was all done, the group sang, “Kelsea Ballerini, wanna join the Opry?” Kelsea naturally said yes, as she wiped away tears.
