Lady A to get a star…
Florida Georgia Line is the recipient of three of the seven new awards created by the Academy of Country Music.
They won the ACM Breakout Artist of the Decade Award, ACM Single of the Decade Award for “Cruise” and the ACM Music Event of the Decade Award for “Meant to Be,” their duet with Bebe Rexha.
Other recipients of the special awards are Chris Stapleton for ACM Artist-Songwriter of the Decade, ACM Songwriter of the Decade went to Rhett Akins, and Miranda Lambert and songwriters Tom Douglas and Allen Shamblin took the trophy for ACM Song of the Decade for “The House That Built Me.”
Lady Antebellum, Clint Black and Mac McAnally will be honored with stars on Nashville’s Music City Walk of Fame.
The ceremony will take place on October 22nd.
