Jeff Cook — guitar player and founding member of the group Alabama — died Monday at his beach home in Florida. He was 73.
Jeff was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2012 and stopped touring with the band in 2018.
He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Lisa Cook.
Luke Combs has a dozen new gold and platinum certifications, led by 4x platinum status for his “This One’s for You” album and a 3x platinum award for his 2019 “What You See Is What You Get” album. Additionally, his single “Beer Never Broke My Heart” is now 4x platinum, with “Even Though I’m Leaving” and “Forever After All” 3x platinum.
