Sarah graduated from Kent State University, Magna Cum Laude in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism. She conducted a weekly radio show on WKSR, Kent State’s student-run radio station for two years, and each year won Best Duo Show as voted on by her peers.

After graduation, she began working part time at WHBC Mix 94.1 in Canton, Ohio. Working weekends and fill-ins for three years, Sarah was promoted to the Morning Show in 2007 where she remained for a year.

In 2008, she joined the Rubber City Radio Group team in Akron, Ohio working part time for all four stations- 94.9 WQMX, 97.5 WONE, 1590 WAKR and 107.3 the Wave, but her main focus was on WQMX. In 2010, Sarah became full time when she was promoted to Evenings on WQMX. Her role quickly evolved into more than just her on-air duties. She became the station’s YouTube curator, social media contributor and managed the video recording of all station concerts and showcases.

Four years doing nights led to Sarah’s biggest promotion to date- in January of 2015 she moved to mornings on WQMX to create Wynn, Kay and the Morning Crew.  Sarah is the morning show social media curator and website manager. She takes, edits and manages content on all the station’s social media pages. She also writes and produces the daily on-air feature Nashville News, which makes her the stations “unofficial” country music news and gossip expert! She is a member of both the Country Music Association (CMA) and Academy of Country Music (ACM).

Sarah is known for her fun-loving personality and her love of the color pink- she even drives a pink car! She loves all country music especially Jennifer Nettles and Sugarland. She expresses herself with fun hats and head gear, so if you see her out and about with a cupcake or ice cream hat on her head- fear not, that’s just Sarah!
