I started August off at the Brad Paisley concert at Blossom with Chris Lane and Riley Green. I got to meet some great listeners! Then the next day it was off to Put In Bay for our Island Getaway for a Day with Filmore. It was an absolute blast as usual!!!
Up next was Jason Aldean, Kane Brown and Carly Pearce at Blossom. The place was so crowded! A sold out show and a great time was so had by all! Then, I got to be a part of the Grand Opening of a store called Girls Outside of the Box in Ravenna. This place is all about inspiring young girls. I had the time of my life with these little ladies!
The following week I got to see Kip Moore’s Dive Bar Tour in Cleveland at Stella’s Music Room. This may be the best Kip show I have ever seen. The crowd was small and he was so into it. The next day I stopped at the Smucker Store and Cafe for a Ticket Stop- that place is always so fun! That night it was back to Cleveland for my brother-in-law Larry’s birthday party at Masthead Brewing.
Finally it was time for Neon Nights at Clay’s Park in Canal Fulton. From the people that bring you The Country Fest, now we have a festival for 80s and 90s country music. The vibe was a bit different, in a good way and I had so much fun I couldn’t stop smiling. I met so many of you and just had the best time. The throwback tunes were on point too with music from David Lee Murphy, Terri Clark, Neal McCoy, Dwight Yoakam, John Michael Montgomery, Diamond Rio, Sawyer Brown, and Josh Turner.
And to top that weekend off, I then went to Playhouse Square in Cleveland with my mom and sister to see the Lion King. Afterward we had lunch at Blue Point. It was all brilliant!
Finally, I ended the month by going to Port Clinton, Catawba Island and Put In Bay to celebrate my wedding anniversary and the Labor Day weekend with my friends and family. We watched the Ohio State game at a brewery call Twin Oast, played board games, and then went to Put In Bay. Lots of laughs, and fun was had by all.
